I have to say that I am dadgum proud of this deal!  I wasn’t even planning to head over to Publix because of other stuff going on, but Kim B. put a bug in my ear about the Hillshire Farms deal.  I put a quick deal together and off I went (after a fun time with the family at a local Disney event that is, lol)!

I have to say that thanks to Winn-Dixie and thanks to Publix accepting competitor’s coupons, $20.00 was shaved right off the top (I forgot to take a $5/25 CVS coupon which could have sweetened the deal even more!).  I had a $10 off $50 purchase and a $10 off $10 pet products thanks to a promo I did recently at Winn-Dixie.

Another $18.00 came off with my (6) $3.00 Snuggle coupons matched to the 2 for $6.00 sale! (I realized at the checkout that I had 7 coupons, so the extra I’ll use to grab a box of sheets for FREE at Dollar General.)

About that Hillshire Farms deal? Regular price was $2.99 – my price after sale & coupons = $0.49 per pack.  12 packs later, my freezer says “thank you very much!”.  I used (6) $1/2 coupons from a recent insert (I always get 6 papers for stockpiling purposes) and (12) $1.00 Publix store coupons from the recent yellow “Fall Savings” Advantage Buy flyer (6 from my papers and 6 more from the store’s display rack at the door).

For the pet goodies, I bought 7 cans of Pedigree Plus @ $0.99 each and used a $2.00 off 7 coupon; bought a bag of Friskies @ $3.99 (ouch!) + treats @ $1.69 and used a “buy Friskies get free treats” coupon from the yellow “Fall Savings” Advantage Buy flyer.  I also bought a bag of cat litter @ 3 for $4.00  (saved $0.35 – Advantage Buy sale) b/c our new kitten hasn’t learned to use the pet door to do his business outside and b/c I forgot to grab some from MIL’s that she has & isn’t using.  I just couldn’t cough up the $7+ for the other brands, LOL! After all pet products and the 3 coupons it came out pretty even.  Gotta love that!

Another deal I couldn’t pass up: Krusteaz Bakery Style Cookie Mix for $0.15 a box! They were regularly $2.29 a box, on sale BOGO and there were $1.00 coupons in a recent insert.  6 boxes x 3 dozen cookies per box = lots of yummy goodness!

Misc: Publix laundry detergent @ 2.50 and (2) bottles of Gatorade 64 oz @ 1.49 each.

The receipt broke down like this (and let me insert here how much I LOVE the way Publix breaks it all down!):

PAID: $3.42

Vendor Coupons: $34.69
Store Coupons: $32.00
Advert Special Savings: $27.88
Advantage Buy Savings: $0.35

TOTAL SAVINGS: $94.92
