Yoplait Frozen Smoothie Mix

SRP: $3.88
Available at grocers nationwide

Yoplait Frozen Smoothie Mixes remind me a little bit of the way I make my easy homemade smoothies.  I use frozen strawberries, fresh bananas, and juice.  All the ingredients in the Yoplait mixes are frozen, in easily blendable small pieces including yogurt.  It requires milk to be added to the mix, which is the main difference.  Not using a fruit juice base obviously greatly reduces the caloric intake – a plus for sure.  It is also nice having everything already prepped and ready to go – just empty contents into blender, add milk, blen and voila! Two yummy smoothies!  i typically use my Magic Bullet instad of a blender, so I have to make a small adjustment – I use half of the package and a little extra milk.

The ingredients are freshly frozen, so they retain their flavor.  The convenience of the packages means I don’t have to wait til strawberries are in season, I don’t have to cut and freeze my own, and Yoplait offers several different flavor combinations – which all adds up to me leaning more the prepared mixes than taking the time to create my own.

The price point may seem a little steep – as in other things, you do pay for convenience – but look for a sale and/or use coupons that are periodically available to get a lower price.  Right now, you can like Yoplait Smoothie on Facebook to get a $1 off coupon.

 From Yoplait:

Including Yoplait Frozen Smoothies in your diet is a quick and easy way to help you get important nutrients, like vitamin C or calcium your body needs. And with seven out of every ten Americans not eating the recommended two to four servings of fruit per day, Yoplait Frozen Smoothies could help you reach that goal.

Each package of Yoplait Frozen Smoothies contains one full serving of fruit (1/2 cup) and 110 to 120 calories per serving. Not only does Yoplait yogurt contain live and active cultures, but when prepared with skim milk and made according to package directions, Yoplait Frozen Smoothies are a good source of calcium. So raise your smoothie glass and toast to a new you!

Found in the frozen fruit aisle of your local grocery store, Yoplait Frozen Smoothies come in four delicious flavors. Be sure to check out the newest flavor, Blueberry Pomegranate, along with other favorites like Triple Berry, Strawberry Banana, and Strawberry Mango Pineapple.

Yoplait Frozen Smoothie Mix, diet & fitness journal, water bottle, and drawstring bag were provided by MyBlogSpark on behalf of Yoplait.  All thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

Hi! Just wanted to say that the Yoplait Smoothies are the best! Our family enjoys a Yoplait smoothie everyday! Always look forward to them. Since they are always on my grocery list, I would be interested in any coupons you have to offer or any other offer that pertains to the smoothies.

Thank you!!
